1950s Blue Zig Zag Dress

Playful day dress in a lightweight nylon knit that's patterned in stripes of blues and greens, and reminds me of rick-rack trim. In the bodice, the knit is diagonal, and it's a simple dart-fitted cap sleeve and wide. scoop neck. The skirt portion starts out in pleats at the waist, but they relax into an a-line silhouette. Metal back zip closure, and belt loops but no belt. No maker's tags, it's possibly home-sewn, but nicely so.

Measures 36" bust, 28" waist, 42" length.
